Fishing Report - Updated on 1/27/09... The water is slightly off color.

WADEABILITY: Excellent

FLIES:
Upper river:
Midges - zebra pattern, and similar, size 24 and smaller. Might try small red flies, egg patterns and worm patterns. Should be able to get by with 5X tippet but have some 6X handy. Consider something big and red or orange if you aren't hooking anything.

Lower River (below Texas Hole):
Mostly midge patterns but keep a supply of baetis emergers, in chocolate, grey, olive - loop wing or emerging wing styles - sizes 16-18. Might try a midge as small as 28-32. And don't forget the worm patterns.
